I have spent many days,
months and years trying to send a message of love and confidence in a way
that wouldn't only touch my life and my children's, but also you as the
reader. My hope is that this book will leave you with more of an
understanding than what I was given, when my sons came out to me. I also
hope that we, as the writers, will have ended our journey together with much
more hope, love, and healing than we had ever expected.
The pages of this book were written by several different people; all with
different out-looks on life, love and healing. Included are the perspectives
of a mother, a father, a grandmother, my sons, and several friends.
The desire of those who have contributed to the writing of this book hope
that our experiences will guide you along your path. Our wish is that you
will be left with a sense of community and the knowledge that others have
journeyed here before and left you with the seeds of hope and love. All to
be sewn with understanding and acceptance.
